DECKED produces highly versatile storage solution that’s very different from others. The DECKED storage system is a set of bed-mounted drawers that are easy to personalize for personal or professional use.
DECKED’s products are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resting on a sub-frame made of approximately 40 pounds of steel. that has been treated with rust inhibitors. This system has a disturbed payload rating of 2000 pounds, while itself weighing between 200 to 230 pounds. It comes with two long drawers and a set of four ammo cans in each corner that provide secondary storage.
The system is weatherproof but not really waterproof. Water can still get into the drawers since they’re not sealed, but they will keep a lot of water and other debris out. The ammo cans are not waterproof at all and the company provides dimples for you to drill drain holes into them. The textured top means you don’t have to worry about slipping around if you climb up into your truck bed.
Every DECKED system is custom fitted to the dimensions of your truck bed based on its make, model, and year. The drawers slide out to around waist height using large, well-mounted handles, allowing for easy access. They slide in and out smoothly and are made so well that they will continue to do so for years of use. These drawers can be customized with separately purchasable accessories designed specifically for the DECKED system, including dividers, locks, Core Trax, and T-Tracks (more on the last two below). These aren’t included, since you may not want them, but they are easily purchasable from DECKED’s website and their local dealers.
If you want tie downs on top of your DECKED system, the company sells the Core Trax. These bolt to the steel tubes in the system and have a 500 lb. pull out rating. The T-Tracks are DECKED’s solution to creating compatibility with Thule and Yakima racks.
The DECKED system installation process doesn’t need a drill. It installs by attaching to your truck bed’s tie downs. This is a great option if you don’t want to drill holes in your truck. It’s also easy to remove if you need to, and just as easy to replace. Assembly is easy and instructions are included with every system.
